Teller City

Teller city is an awesome Ghost town near Gould, Colorado. We like to ride our ATV's from The Cabins and make an afternoon ride of it.

It's a fairly easy ride and until you get to three way fork where Co rd 21 and Forest Road 770 intersect you can ride a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

Even after that the ride is not too difficult and a two wheel drive could probably make the journey though I wouldn't suggest it.

This is a re-created cabin at Teller City to give you a feel of what it was like to live in a mining town.

The Cabins Gift Shop

This was our home away from home the summer of 2010. Located outside just east of Gould,CO right on HWY 14 it was easy to get to and we loved it. 

They are not the Hilton but the price is reasonable, at the time we stayed it cost around $55 per night. The cabins are equipped with heat and lights. The big cabin has two bedrooms and a fridge so to call it camping would really be cheating!

The riding roads and trails near Gould are awesome and you are only a couple miles away from the State Park where you can visit Michigan reservoir; which also has many ATV/ 4-wheel drive trails around it. 

One of our favorite trails to ride is the one up to Teller City, which is an old Ghost Town.
